Friends embark on Wing Walk
in memory of Callum Lynch
for Insulinoma Charity UK
We share the heart-breaking story of Callum Lynch, who was just 29 when he passed away from a malignant insulinoma, after a tough fight that lasted over four years.
Callum had so much to look forward to, he was about to get married to his love, Becky, in April 2024, celebrate his 30th birthday the following May, move into a new home, and enjoy many exciting plans. Now, his friends and family face these moments without him, which is incredibly sad. By remembering Callum's strength and bravery helps to find some comfort during these hard times. Becky, Callum's fiancé, says, "His strength and bravery continue to inspire us all."
The Challenge: Taking on the Skies with Wing Walking on 27th July 2024, at Henstridge Aerodrome in Somerset.
Becky and Ben, Callum’s closest friends, are bravely stepping up to do something amazing in his memory. They're going to do a wing walk – yes, they'll be strapped to the top of an airplane, flying high! They're doing this daring challenge to raise money and awareness for Insulinoma Charity UK, to help others fighting this illness.
